Born in 2009, Cool Cat Funk is music by Olivi Miller. Original music written with style, Inspired by the life of a rootsman outlaw grower. Songs about growing, love, sex, stars, oceans, herb, cats, being cool, self reflection, not giving a F and more,. Genuine music recorded over the course of the May, June, July, and September full moons 2018 in Portland Oregon. Recorded at Jackpot! with the help of a talented lineup of musicians. The songs on the album were written over the course of 9 years. CCF#1 starts the album off and sets the tone by introducing the Cool Cat. Just here to have fun and express a style of music that is unique and entertaining. Through the nine tracks a sort of story is woven, after a foray with a Fox, the summer solstice blooms and we take a trip to Cool School. The longest track on the album helps us to remember that winding our way down lanes of flowers where birds sing freely, the sunflower becomes an inspiration for a way of life. Of course some days just feel less like winning and more like losing, but with a irreverent attitude, chillin and coolin save the day. So we just keep a funkn along, sailing our way to a pleasing place, where our gardens are abundant and pure.
